Asanas For Opening The Sacral Chakra

Asanas are the postures used in the yogic practice, and are there to target certain areas in the body and chakras (energy points).

The sacral chakra is the second in the human body, and is believed to govern our s*xual energies, emotions, and our creative expression.

Doing specific yogic asanas that are targeted for specific chakras, in this case our sacral, can help open us blocked or stagnancies related to them.

These asanas are a practice to heighten the sensations, lessen blockages, and build awareness around our sensuality and sacral areas.

  1. Paschimottanasana (Forward Fold)
  2. Utkata Konasana (Goddess Pose)
  3. Upavistha Konasana (Wide Angle Seated Forward Bend)
  4. Supta Vajrasana (Reclined Thunderbolt Pose)
  5. Anjaneyasana (Crescent Pose)

Hold Each Pose for 5-20 Minutes. Please be cautious of any injuries you already have. Focus on breathing to the sacral chakra, located in the pelvis area.

Partner connection exercise.

Practice these poses with your partner or a friend, after your asanas, use the Transcend S*x Oil to give each other a relaxing third eye and temple massage while the receiving partner lays in savasana (Corpse Pose). Allow the energy from your Pelvis to move up the spine and now into the third eye through the massage.
